I like owning a product end to end, from the data model to the screen someone actually touches. I start with the thinnest version that runs all the way through, then add depth. Along the way I write down architecture decisions as I make them, and I put tests and audit trails in before the clever parts.
Outside of work I'm usually still tinkering. I built a cyberdeck with custom C firmware for LoRa, GPS, and a handful of sensors, and I never really stopped doing competition math; probability problems are still my favorite kind of puzzle. A lot of my projects started at hackathons.
I graduated from the University of Kansas in May 2026 with a B.S. in Computer Science and a minor in Mathematics.
